UAE nationals are net buyers of AED 480 million in ADX shares

Non-UAE investors recorded net sales of the same amount in September.

UAE nationals were net buyers of AED 480.1 million in shares on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) in September, Argaam reported. They bought AED 15.12 billion and sold AED 14.64 billion. Non-UAE investors recorded net sales of the same amount, buying AED 12.32 billion and selling AED 12.80 billion.

Arab investors were net buyers of AED 86.6 million. GCC investors were net sellers of AED 270.3 million, while investors of other nationalities recorded net sales of AED 296.4 million.

Total purchases and sales each reached AED 27.44 billion. By share count, UAE investors bought about 5.8 billion shares and sold 5.9 billion. Although net sellers of roughly 114.2 million shares, they accounted for 64.1% of total shares purchased.
