NTR district Collector G. Lakshmisha announced that the Amaravati Regional Summit is scheduled for October 16 in Vijayawada, a precursor to the 31st Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Partnership Summit slated for November 12‑13 in Visakhapatnam.
The summit will convene representatives from NTR, Guntur, Palnadu, Prakasam, Markapuram, Eluru, Bapatla and Krishna districts, following a virtual preparatory meeting on September 22, 2026, where officials reviewed logistics and discussed investment promotion, industrial development, MSME participation, and stronger industry‑academia linkages.
Collector Lakshmisha said the regional meeting aims to identify district‑specific industrial strengths, promote balanced regional development, and connect micro, small and medium enterprises with potential investors, while the state government will facilitate land acquisition and extend support under its industrial policies, especially for emerging sectors such as Industry 4.0, deep‑technology and start‑ups.
The event is positioned as a platform for entrepreneurs to secure investments and sign a large number of memorandums of understanding, contributing to the broader economic objectives of the Viksit Bharat and Swarna Andhra@2047 initiatives that underpin the upcoming CII Partnership Summit.
By showcasing local resources and opportunities, the Amaravati Regional Summit is expected to create a favourable investment climate ahead of the main summit, encouraging both domestic and foreign capital to flow into Andhra Pradesh’s industrial landscape.
