The appointments were disclosed in a release issued by the BJP Central Office, which said the changes are part of a broader reshuffle of State Prabharis and Sah Prabharis across the party’s southern units.
Ms. Aruna, who previously served as a national vice‑president of the BJP, has been tasked with assisting Tamil Nadu Prabhari Ram Madhav in overseeing the party’s operations and outreach in the state.
Mr. Venkateshwarlu, a former ABVP activist from Osmania University, has been appointed Sah Prabhari for Karnataka, where senior leader Harish Dwivedi continues as the state Prabhari. The move brings a youth‑oriented figure into the party’s Karnataka hierarchy.
The reshuffle also confirmed that Sunil Bansal will remain as Telangana Prabhari, while Abhay Patil and Rekha Sharma have been added as Sah Prabharis for Telangana, expanding the party’s senior‑level team in that state.
By refreshing its Sah Prabhari roster, the BJP appears to be bolstering its organisational structure in the south ahead of upcoming political contests, seeking to improve coordination between central leadership and state units.
