In a fresh interview for Page Six’s “Virtual Reali‑Tea,” Real Housewives of Dubai star Chanel Ayan said she ran into Richards and Kemsley at the Pre‑Emmy gathering and spent time talking with both of them, describing the interaction as "great" and noting that the two were "really close" at the event.
Ayan added that Richards even created a WhatsApp group chat that includes her and Kemsley, calling the gesture "cute" and expressing relief to see the longtime rivals together again.
The apparent reconciliation comes after several years of publicly documented tension between the two women. Their friendship began to fray in Season 13 when Richards grew closer to country singer Morgan Wade amid her separation from husband Mauricio Umansky, prompting speculation about a romantic link.
Richards later downplayed the closeness in an Amazon Live appearance, claiming Kemsley had exaggerated their bond and that they had only vacationed together once outside of filming. In response, Kemsley released a screenshot of a "manipulative" text Richards allegedly sent the night before the Season 13 reunion, urging her not to raise their issues on camera.
