Fry told Exco Player that she has gone back through the data of all previous games, searching for statistically significant patterns that might give her an edge, though she admitted she can’t be sure any of them will help.
She highlighted a recurring tactic among traitors: an early “burn vote,” where they deliberately vote for a player no one else has nominated, effectively eliminating a potential threat before the group settles into the game.
“By that I mean they just vote for somebody that nobody else has voted for,” Fry explained, citing last year’s contestant Cat Burns as a prime example of the maneuver.
Fry cautioned that spotting such signals is difficult because the “Faithfuls” – the non‑traitor players – are “an absolute mess,” with voting patterns that are “all over the place,” making it hard to isolate a clear trend.
Despite the uncertainty, she said she has “spreadsheets coming out of my eyeballs” and even visualizes numbers on the inside of her eyelids, underscoring how deeply she’s immersed herself in the analytics.
When asked about her overall game plan, Fry described it as “careful, analytical, and … a little bit mischievous,” adding that she wants to “enjoy the ride and have fun being playful” while navigating the competition.
