The second round of randomisation was carried out through the Election Commission of India’s EVM Management System, with all contesting candidates or their representatives and the General Observer present on Tuesday, a departmental release said.
After the process, the department shared the list of reserve EVMs and VVPATs with the candidates and their representatives, ensuring they are aware of the equipment allocated to each polling station.
Returning Officer Arjun Ramakrishnan confirmed that the allocated machines and paper audit trails will be used at the respective polling stations on the day of the election.
