In an advisory issued on Tuesday, September 22, the traffic police said the service road and the free‑left movement from KIMS Hospital toward Nanakramguda Road will be temporarily closed, and right‑turns from the Biodiversity side to Nanakramguda Road will also be barred.
Officials warned that congestion is likely to build up around the junction during the construction period and urged commuters to seek alternate routes.
Drivers approaching Khajaguda from the Shaikpet flyover are advised to divert via Timberlake Colony Road before reaching KIMS Hospital and then re‑join Nanakramguda Road.
Vehicles coming from under the Shaikpet flyover can avoid the affected stretch by using High‑Tension Road, while traffic from the Gachibowli/Biodiversity Level‑1 flyover may be rerouted at the Pakwan U‑turn onto Khajaguda Lake Road.
The police specifically asked regular commuters, including the large number of IT employees who travel through the area, to plan their journeys in advance and follow the suggested detours to minimise delays.
