Masum Miah was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds inside his vehicle on 18 August, prompting a murder investigation that has now resulted in three separate murder charges.
Detective Chief Inspector Dan Whitten, who is leading the inquiry, said police continue to appeal for information and urged anyone with details to contact the force on 101, quoting reference CAD 797/18AUG.
The first of the new suspects, 18‑year‑old Leonel Friman Intasse of High Street, Sittingbourne, was charged with murder on Wednesday. He remains in custody and is due to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday.
The second suspect, 47‑year‑old Renars Ludins, who has no fixed address, was charged on Saturday, 29 August. He was remanded in custody, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court the same day and is scheduled to appear again at the Old Bailey on Monday, 17 May 2027.
The most recent charge was brought against 36‑year‑old Mihai Stancu of Charlton Crescent, Barking, on Tuesday, 8 September. He was remanded, appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on 9 September and will also be sent to the Old Bailey on 17 May 2027.
Police have not disclosed a motive for the shooting, and the investigation remains ongoing as authorities seek further witnesses or evidence.
