The 2026–27 Indian Super League season will begin on October 10, with Bengaluru FC taking on Sporting Club Delhi at Sree Kanteerava Stadium. FC Goa will then meet Chennaiyin FC at Fatorda Stadium on the same day. Organisers said fan feedback shaped the schedule: 53 of the 78 Phase 1 matches, or 68%, are set for Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.
The 13 participating clubs are Bengaluru FC, Chennaiyin FC, Churchill Brothers, East Bengal FC, FC Goa, Inter Kashi, Kerala Blasters FC, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, Mumbai City FC, NorthEast United FC, Odisha FC, Punjab FC and Sporting Club Delhi. The fixtures add new destinations and rivalries to the calendar.
The first-ever ISL Goa Derby will take place on December 13, when Churchill Brothers meet FC Goa at Fatorda. The league will also expand into Manipur: NorthEast United FC are scheduled to play Sporting Club Delhi at Khuman Lampak Stadium in Imphal on November 24.
Defending champions East Bengal FC begin their title defence on October 18 against Churchill Brothers at Fatorda. They will miss Game Week 1 because of their AFC commitments. The Kolkata Derby, with East Bengal hosting Mohun Bagan Super Giant, is set for November 29 at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan.
The league will pause for the FIFA international window from November 7 to November 20. Phase 1 consists of 78 matches from October 10, 2026, through January 17, 2027; the top six teams advance to the playoffs. Phase 2 and playoff fixtures will be announced later. Inter Kashi’s home venue remains to be confirmed by the club.
