The history of the Federation of Pontian Associations of Greece was presented at the 20th nationwide Pontian dance festival at PAOK Sports Arena. The account returned to 2004 and the idea of giving the Pontian Greek community a shared voice.
Texts by Filippos Tsaouselis were read by presenters Taxiarchis Chanos and Melina Yalama. The retrospective covered the federation's founding, the festival, initiatives concerning recognition of the Pontian Greek genocide, cultural projects and youth participation.
The organisation's 22-year journey was linked to its first president, Georgios Parcharidis. This year's festival was dedicated to his memory.
