The club decision is separate from the return of national teams. On July 8, the International Volleyball Federation admitted Russia’s indoor and beach volleyball national teams to international events. Russia’s men will not take part in the 2027 World Championship in Poland, with the federation citing a lack of security guarantees, but are set to play in the 2027 Volleyball Nations League.
