Johnny Fisher, Craig Richards and Lee Cutler headline a Sky Sports boxing programme that has prompted differing predictions from former champions and fighters. The bouts are scheduled for live coverage from 7pm: Fisher meets Michael Pirotton, Richards faces Radivoje Kalajdzic and Cutler takes on Louis Greene.
Chris Billam-Smith, who has sparred with Fisher, says the heavyweight looks fit and strong and that changes under new trainer Tony Sims are visible. He expects Fisher to deal with Pirotton’s long-range style. Johnny Nelson is more cautious: Pirotton has not been stopped and has sparred with prominent fighters, but there is limited evidence to judge him. Da’Mazion Vanhouter and Cheavon Clarke also back Fisher. Paul Ready predicts a demanding start and a possible stoppage in the eighth or ninth round.
The Richards–Kalajdzic fight is less settled. Billam-Smith favours Richards on points for his jab and timing, while warning that Kalajdzic has power and can box. Nelson calls Richards, known as Spider, intelligent and underrated; Clarke predicts a Richards stoppage. Ready thinks Richards may have to overcome adversity and sees a split decision as possible.
For Cutler–Greene, Billam-Smith says Greene’s forward pressure will test Cutler’s ability to switch between front-foot and back-foot boxing. Nelson and Vanhouter favour Cutler; Clarke considers the matchup nearly even and leans towards Greene. Ready also predicts Greene on points. Fisher has the broadest support, but the panel still flags Pirotton’s defence, durability and experience as reasons for caution.
