Rolan Gusev and Kirill Nababkin scored for CSKA Legends. Lavinho, Wagner Love’s son, and Daniel Carvalho found the net for the opposing team. The match marked Love’s farewell to football after he announced his retirement on March 24, 2026. His last club was Brazilian third-division side Retrô.
Love played for CSKA from 2004 to 2011, with loan spells in between, and returned in 2013. He made 259 appearances for the Moscow club and scored 124 goals. With CSKA he won the Russian championship three times and the Russian Cup six times, and helped the team claim the UEFA Cup in the 2004–05 season.
His career also included Palmeiras, Flamengo, Shandong Luneng, Corinthians, Monaco, Alanyaspor, Beşiktaş, Kairat, Midtjylland, Sport Recife, Atlético Goianiense and Avaí. Love earned 20 caps and scored four goals for Brazil, winning the Copa América in 2004 and 2007.
