The recommended petrol price in the Netherlands rose by 14 euro cents per litre in a month and remains at a record level, according to UnitedConsumers data cited by De Telegraaf. Over the past year, the price has increased by more than 50 cents per litre, from about €2.18.
At the current recommended price, filling a 50-litre tank costs more than €136, compared with about €109 a year ago. The average recommended diesel price was little changed on Sunday at €2.814 per litre, while LPG remained at €1.265.
