Palestinian media reported that Saher Saqr was killed on Saturday in an airstrike on the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. Ynet describes him as one of the people involved in the abduction of Noa Argamani on October 7. The report does not cite independent confirmation of his death.
Argamani was abducted from the Nova music festival with her partner, Avinatan Or. She was freed eight months later during Operation Arnon. She continued campaigning for Or’s release; he returned home on October 13, 2025, as part of a hostage deal.
The same report says people were also injured in an Israeli strike near the White Mosque in the Shati camp, west of Gaza City. It gives no number of casualties or further details about that incident.
Ynet also recounts remarks by an unnamed Southern Command official about continued efforts to target people involved in the October 7 attack. The official said some targets are monitored in advance, while other strikes follow newly obtained intelligence and a particular operational opportunity; there is no single fixed plan for every operation.
The official claimed that some of those being pursued are involved in rebuilding Hamas’s capabilities. These assessments, like the accounts of the strikes, are attributed to the sources cited by Ynet.
