A new event space called Hachi Station Supported by Meiji Yasuda opened on Sept. 26 at Aeon Mall Tsudanuma in Narashino, Chiba Prefecture. It was established by Aeon Retail, based in Chiba City, with sponsorship from Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance.
Mainichi reports that the venue is intended to host future events for community interaction and health promotion. Actress Atsuko Maeda, whose remark appears in the newspaper's headline, expressed hope that it would help revitalize the town.
