Transavia France has confirmed to EX-YU Aviation News that it will end flights between Paris Orly and Ljubljana after this year’s summer season. The route began on April 14, 2022, and the last flight is scheduled for Oct. 31.
This year the airline operated twice-weekly services, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and plans to add one more flight in its final week. The route initially also ran twice a week but remained mainly seasonal throughout its four years rather than developing into a year-round service.
Service frequency varied over the seasons. In 2024, Transavia first planned an earlier restart and as many as four weekly flights, but later moved the start date to April 5. It increased flights during the summer; in part of the 2025 summer season, up to four weekly services were available between Orly and Ljubljana.
Transavia France’s departure will also end flights under the Transavia brand at Ljubljana Airport. The carrier had already ended its long-running Amsterdam–Ljubljana service in October last year, after which KLM, another Air France-KLM group member, took over the route.
Direct flights between Ljubljana and Paris will continue. Air France serves Charles de Gaulle Airport, and the French airline has maintained its Ljubljana connection since 2004.
