Teimuraz Gogiashvili, detained in the Voronezh region on suspicion of killing a woman and her daughter, has been brought to Moscow for questioning.
According to NTV, traffic police stopped the suspect's vehicle on a highway before special forces detained him. He is now in Moscow, where an investigator is expected to question him.
The case follows the discovery on 3 October of remains of businesswoman Elena Tsereteli in an apartment on Zhulebinsky Boulevard. Her daughter's body was also found in the suspect's garage. A criminal murder investigation has been opened.
The investigation is continuing. Detention and questioning do not establish guilt. Investigators still have to determine the circumstances of both deaths and the suspect's alleged role.
