Two trucks collided on the M-8 highway towards Moscow. No injuries were reported, regional police said.
A FAW truck collided with a Mercedes truck in Pushkino, near Moscow, then struck a road barrier, overturned and caught fire. No one was injured, the Moscow Region Interior Ministry said.
The crash happened at about 4:24 a.m. on the 33rd kilometre of the M-8 Kholmogory highway towards Moscow. According to preliminary police information, the FAW driver struck the Mercedes while both trucks were travelling in the same direction. The FAW then hit the roadside barrier, overturned and caught fire.
The ministry said two trucks were involved and the fire broke out after one of them overturned. Its statement did not give a cause for the collision or further details about the vehicles or the fire.
