The recall covers Grandiosa Original in 575-gram packs and Grandiosa Porsjon in 375-gram packs. It applies to products with best-before dates from 3 April through 20 April 2027, Orkla Foods Norge said in a press release.
Consumers who have one of the affected pizzas in their freezer are being asked either to discard it or contact the company to request a refund. Orkla asks customers seeking reimbursement to photograph the best-before date on the packaging and use the consumer-service contact form at orklafoods.no.
The company’s notice identifies possible hard plastic in some pizzas as the reason for the withdrawal. It does not provide details about how many products may be affected, and it does not say whether anyone has been injured after eating a pizza from the batch.
Customers should check both the product size and the best-before date against the recall information before deciding whether their pizza is included. The refund process described by Orkla requires a photograph of the date printed on the packaging.
