
Admiral Samuel Paparo met India’s senior military leadership at a New Delhi dinner. His October 5–8 visit is focused on advancing the two countries’ defence partnership and military cooperation.
U.S. Ambassador to India Sergio Gor hosted the dinner at Roosevelt House on October 4. The U.S. Embassy said attendees included India’s Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. N.S. Raja Subramani, and Army Chief Gen. Dhiraj Seth. The gathering also included Vice Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, Chief of Integrated Defence Staff Air Marshal Tejinder Singh and other senior Indian defence officials.
Paparo leads the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. During his visit, he is expected to discuss shared security priorities with Indian counterparts, including maritime cooperation, emerging technologies, regional strategic stability and energy resilience for defence.
Montana Governor Greg Gianforte attended with a delegation of business and industry leaders. The U.S. Embassy said the gathering reflected both the defence and economic dimensions of ties between Washington and New Delhi.
