Man arrested in Sydney over fatal shooting of 11-year-old

New South Wales police charged an 18-year-old linked to the Coconut Cartel and a shooting in Norwest.

An alleged member of Sydney's Coconut Cartel has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of an 11-year-old child in Norwest. ABC News reported that 18-year-old Reece Fakhr was charged after his phone was found at the scene of last month's shooting.

Police describe Fakhr as an alleged “key player” in the group. The charges and alleged link to the shooting do not amount to a court finding of guilt; the investigation is continuing.
