Apple may unveil touchscreen MacBook Pro and OLED iPad mini in late October

Bloomberg reports that Apple may present new Macs and an iPad around October 27. The company has not confirmed the plans.

The The models, codenamed K114 and K116, are said to be lighter than current laptops.

Sources also expect The new iPad mini, codenamed J510, is reportedly set to get an OLED display, a video-call camera on the longer side of the body and a redesigned speaker system.

Bloomberg said the presentation would combine an online video with an in-person meeting for journalists. The devices are aimed mainly at professionals working in video production, photo editing and music. Apple declined to comment, so the launch date and specifications remain source-based reports rather than an official announcement.
