Detroit replace John Gibson with Daniil Tarasov in 6–3 loss to Seattle

Daniil Tarasov replaced John Gibson after Detroit Red Wings conceded their fifth goal against Seattle Kraken in the October 9 NHL game, which Seattle won 6–3.
The change came at 14:05 of the second period with Detroit trailing 5–2. Ben Meyers scored Seattle's fifth goal, prompting the hosts to send Tarasov into the net. Gibson, 33, had played 34 minutes and five seconds and allowed five goals on fifteen shots.
Seattle scored four times in the second period to take control after the teams finished the opening period level at one goal each. Freddy Gaudreau scored twice for the visitors. Detroit added a third goal in the final period, but Seattle retained the lead and secured the away win.
