According to the forecast released on Friday, most of South Korea will enjoy clear skies on Saturday, although some areas will receive modest rainfall.
In Gangwon Province, the mountainous regions are projected to get between five and ten millimetres of rain, with the east coast of the province expected to see about five millimetres.
Jeju Island is slated for slightly heavier precipitation, ranging from five to twenty millimetres, and the island, together with the south coast of South Jeolla Province, will continue to experience strong winds under an active wind advisory.
Morning temperatures will stay mild, with lows ranging from 15 °C to 22 °C nationwide, mirroring Friday’s readings. Daytime highs are set to climb between 24 °C and 30 °C, with Seoul specifically forecast to rise from a 19 °C low to a 29 °C high in the afternoon.
The agency also warned that most regions will see wide daily temperature swings, with differences of ten to fifteen degrees between the morning low and the afternoon high.
