Chairing a high‑level review meeting at the State Secretariat, Mr. Vikramarka called the summit a "historic opportunity" to boost Telangana’s economic growth and urged officials to work with commitment and coordination to ensure its success. The meeting was attended by ministers D. Sridhar Babu, N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Mohammed Azharuddin and Adluri Laxman, along with Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju and senior bureaucrats.
Participants approved a detailed action plan covering summit logistics, publicity, investor outreach and roadshows. To execute the plan, the government has set up roughly ten senior‑level committees, each supported by executive councils headed by ministers, and ordered the creation of a dedicated "war room" for daily progress reviews.
Mr. Vikramarka instructed departments to avoid delays in planning, budgeting and approvals, and to launch an extensive publicity campaign across print, electronic, digital and social media to attract international media attention. He also asked officials to review previously signed MoUs, assess their implementation, and identify high‑potential countries, cities and sectors for pre‑summit roadshows both in India and abroad.
The deputy chief minister emphasized that the summit should serve as a long‑term asset rather than a one‑off event, directing officials to be ready to expand conference facilities from four halls to six or eight depending on delegate participation. He said the summit will lay a strong foundation for Telangana’s future investment‑driven development.
If successful, the Invest Telangana Global Summit‑2026 is expected to position the state as a leading global investment destination, helping it on the path to a $3 trillion economy by 2047 and reinforcing its reputation for coordinated, high‑impact economic initiatives.
