The transaction, which Embassy Developments claims is the largest single‑unit residential sale in India, involves a tower covering 63,000 sq ft of RERA‑certified carpet area on Juhu Tara Road, one of Mumbai’s most exclusive addresses.

Embassy Terazza is an ultra‑luxury, low‑density project spread over more than two acres and comprises roughly 50 residences. The development’s gross development value is estimated at over ₹3,000 crore, according to the builder.

Jitendra Virwani, chairman of Embassy Developments, said the deal underscores the brand’s growing credibility in Mumbai, noting that the company has spent three decades understanding home‑buyer preferences and that the purchase “is a strong endorsement of that vision and the trust the Embassy brand has earned in Mumbai within 18 months of launching in the city.”

Thakkar, who serves as founder, chairman and managing director of Angel One Limited, said he chose Juhu for its “special character,” emphasizing his desire for privacy, spaciousness, sea views and an iconic family sanctuary.

The MoU marks the first time a single buyer has acquired an entire residential tower in the city, a milestone that could set a benchmark for future high‑value luxury property transactions in India.
