According to the official ward‑wise electoral data, Gajuwaka tops the list with 298,229 voters across 19 wards, followed closely by the East Zone with 296,124 voters in 18 wards and the North Zone with 291,691 voters in 20 wards.
The South and West zones have 217,817 voters in 16 wards and 214,094 voters in 17 wards respectively, bringing the total electorate across GVMC’s limits to 1,829,966 as of September 22, 2026.
Gender‑wise, the roll comprises 927,676 women, 902,171 men and 119 voters classified in the ‘others’ category.
Among the peripheral zones, Madhurawada and Pendurthi each have roughly 149,000 voters spread over seven wards, while Anakapalli, Aganampudi and Bheemunipatnam account for 76,950, 69,796 and 66,446 voters respectively.
GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg said the lists were made available at government offices designated by the State Election Commission, allowing the public to inspect and verify the details.
He added that, per the State Election Commission’s directive, a special survey will be conducted from September 23‑25 to gather ward‑wise data on Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Backward Class and women voters, with booth‑level officials visiting each ward to collect the information.
Commissioner Garg appealed to residents to provide accurate information and cooperate with officials, emphasizing that the exercise is crucial for finalising electoral rolls ahead of the proposed local body elections.
