He called for top‑level planning that prioritises backbone upgrades, security hardening and device‑level AI capabilities.
Ethan Liu, vice‑president of the Router Domain, introduced the Stellar AI Integrated Data WAN Solution, highlighting four pillars: converged ultra‑broadband to eliminate bottlenecks, multi‑dimensional awareness for efficient AI compute delivery, proactive security and resilience, and autonomous network management that can self‑heal within minutes.
Nick Liu, vice‑president of Huawei’s Enterprise Optical Domain, presented a national‑scale fiber target network built on ultra‑broadband, flexible and secure optical technologies such as 400G/800G links, all‑optical cross‑connects, OTN‑QKD integration, 50‑ms wavelength‑switched optical networks, AI‑DAS and the NOEMate platform, urging collaborative deployment of an all‑optical backbone to support inclusive digital strategies.
During the event Huawei and GlobalData jointly released the “Intelligent WAN White Paper in the AI Era,” a systematic analysis of industry trends, target architectures and roadmaps intended to help customers accelerate the transition to agentic AI‑driven networks.
