Perched on a stony stretch of the Côte d’Azur, Les Roches Rouges has long been a visual postcard of the 1960s, its 30‑metre salt‑water pool hewn from the rock just above the Mediterranean recalling the glossy compositions of Slim Aarons.

The property, which has operated for decades, is now owned by the Beaumier hotel group – the same family behind Ibiza’s Petunia and the alpine resort Le Fitz Roy in Val Thorens – and has been refreshed with the brand’s signature sleek, coastal aesthetic.

In 2025 the hotel added a new wing of 25 rooms built in the same style as the original block, bringing the total inventory to 70 rooms and reinforcing its capacity to host a growing upscale clientele.

Each guestroom features polished concrete floors, white walls, natural‑fiber furnishings and flashes of the egg‑yolk yellow that has become the hotel’s visual hallmark, plus a balcony equipped with two ochre‑toned deck chairs that frame the region’s famed ombré sunsets.

The centerpiece of the latest upgrade is the newly unveiled Riviera Suite – an expansive, sculptural space with two bedrooms, a vast private terrace and its own plunge pool, offering an ultra‑private slice of Riviera glamour.

Dining options include the laid‑back La Chicoula, set under a pine grove and serving pizzas and salads, and the more formal Estelo, which offers breakfast and an evening menu of champagne, oysters and sole menïeur on a stone‑paved seafront terrace.

Wellness and recreation are catered for with a spa offering Susanne Kaufmann treatments, morning yoga and Pilates on a shaded deck, and a fleet of paddle boards and sea kayaks for guests to explore the rugged coastline; an ice‑cream trolley also appears on sunny afternoons.

The hotel’s atmosphere attracts couples and small groups of friends rather than overtly commercial tourists, and its Instagram‑ready settings – from the cliff‑side pool to the new suite’s terrace – are expected to boost its profile among luxury travelers.

By expanding its room count and introducing the Riviera Suite, Les Roches Rouges strengthens Beaumier’s foothold on the French Riviera and positions the property as a premier destination for high‑end leisure in the post‑pandemic travel market.
