Around 4 p.m. on September 23, platform security guards at Rajajinagar Metro Station spotted a passenger who had jumped onto the railway tracks.
The guards immediately alerted station authorities, prompting the activation of the Emergency Trip System (ETS) as a precautionary measure.
Station Controller and security personnel responded promptly, securing the area and coordinating the rescue operation.
Within a few minutes, the passenger was safely retrieved from the tracks; officials confirmed he sustained no injuries.
After the rescue, the individual was handed over to police for further inquiry, while metro operations continued without interruption.
Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) officials stated that train services experienced no delays and overall metro operations remained normal.
