Speaking at a press conference, BJP local unit president V. P. Ramalingam said the month‑long programme, titled “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan”, will feature a range of artists who will help highlight Modi’s record, first as Gujarat’s chief minister and now as India’s prime minister.
The series of events, scheduled to run throughout the month, will be held in every one of Puducherry’s 30 assembly constituencies, ensuring a uniform outreach across the Union Territory.
The inauguration of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is slated for Sunday, when BJP national general secretary (organisation) B. L. Santhosh will launch the celebrations near the Gandhi Statue, Ramalingam added.
The initiative forms part of a broader, nationwide set of celebrations called by the BJP’s central leadership to commemorate Modi’s quarter‑century in public office, aiming to reinforce his political narrative ahead of upcoming electoral contests.
Party officials said the extensive schedule is intended to mobilise local supporters, showcase the party’s organisational capacity in Puducherry and further embed Modi’s legacy in the region’s political discourse.
