Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 is positioned as Qualcomm's top‑tier offering, built to run AI agents directly on the handset and to deliver more personalized, adaptive experiences throughout the day, with a particular focus on gaming and camera performance.
The standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 sits below the Extreme model but shares the same 2 nm process node, Qualcomm's custom Oryon CPU, a reworked Adreno GPU and the Hexagon NPU, allowing it to bring many of the same AI, imaging, gaming and connectivity capabilities to a wider range of premium phones.
Among the highlighted innovations is Adreno Neural Fusion, which uses AI to shape graphics output for mobile titles, and imaging upgrades such as Advanced Professional Video and Intelligent Pixel Control that improve scene understanding for more natural photos and video.
