The agreement covers the England men's tour scheduled for December 2024 and January 2025, marking the team’s first Test visit to South Africa in seven years after a historic home whitewash of Pakistan.
The series will also be the debut for Stephen Fleming as England’s men’s Test head coach, adding a new leadership dimension to the tour.
Three One‑Day Internationals will follow the Tests in January, serving as preparation for the ICC Men’s World Cup 2027, which will be staged across South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia in October‑November 2027.
In addition to England’s fixtures, Sky Sports will broadcast the Australian men’s tour that kicks off Thursday with an ODI in Durban, followed by three Tests, and will continue covering upcoming tours by Bangladesh, India Women and Australia Women through April.
The renewed deal reinforces Sky Sports’ long‑standing role as the home of cricket, having aired South African cricket for more than three decades and every England home series during that time, and positions the network for the high‑profile Ashes series on home soil next summer.
