Rao’s itinerary includes a stop in Brisbane on September 26, where he has been invited by the Indian Cultural Society (ICS) to attend its Convention 2026 and meet members of the local Indian community.
At the convention, he is expected to discuss issues of interest to the growing Indian population in Australia and to interact with community leaders and residents.
The following day, September 27, Rao will travel to Melbourne to take part in programmes organised by the Overseas Friends of BJP’s Telangana Chapter, addressing the Telangana diaspora as well as BJP supporters and well‑wishers living in the country.
The visit, detailed in a press release on Wednesday, reflects the party’s intention to strengthen connections with overseas Indians and to highlight its agenda among diaspora communities.
