More than 1.1 million ticket applications have been submitted for the 2027 men’s ODI Cricket World Cup, with the India-Pakistan match drawing the most requests so far, The Times of India reported. The ballot opened on October 1.
The group-stage match in Johannesburg on October 10, 2027, has received over 110,000 applications. India’s games against South Africa and Australia have drawn more than 92,000 and 86,000, respectively. The final, scheduled for November 21, has attracted nearly 69,000 requests.
The International Cricket Council says the ballot runs until November 21 and entries are not first-come, first-served. Where demand exceeds available tickets, a randomised draw will determine who can buy them. The tournament will be played in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
