Kamchatka to launch business training programme for veterans and families

The five-day course, “SVOy Business,” will help participants develop business ideas, prepare plans and learn about government support.

A five-day “SVOy Business” training programme for participants in the special military operation, combat veterans and their family members will begin in Kamchatka on 2 November and run through 6 November, the regional government’s press service said.

With experts and mentors, participants will assess a business idea, study the market and target audience, learn the basics of entrepreneurship, and prepare a business plan and financial model. The course will also cover government support available to entrepreneurs.

The regional Ministry of Economic Development and External Relations said participants would be able to assess the prospects of their ideas and learn about available support measures. Graduates will receive certificates.

The programme is being held under the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy.”
