Maa Nava Puranam by Meegada Ramalinga Swamy was introduced at an event organised by the Lok Nayak Foundation in Visakhapatnam.
Maa Nava Puranam, a book by writer Meegada Ramalinga Swamy, was released at Andhra University in Visakhapatnam. The event was organised by the Lok Nayak Foundation in the conference hall of the university’s Hindi Department.
Writer Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, who presided over the programme, said the book was written in verse and intended to be accessible to young readers. Chief guest Bethavolu Ramabrahmam said the collection contains 333 verses addressing stages of life including student years, marriage and old age.
Orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Parthasarathi congratulated the author, while Telugu Department head J. Apparao inaugurated the event. Hindi Department head N. Satyanarayana delivered the vote of thanks. Faculty members and students from both departments attended.
