Menon and Kutryk prepare spacesuits for ISS solar-array work

Anil Menon and Joshua Kutryk are preparing to install ISS solar arrays during spacewalks on October 29 and November 5, NASA said.

Menon cleaned the spacesuits’ cooling loops, while Kutryk replenished their water systems. The astronauts also discussed preparations with mission control.

The October 29 installation is planned for the station truss’s port side. Work on its starboard side is scheduled for November 5, completing installation of the roll-out arrays.
