
More than 10,000 people visited Yaroslavl’s regional Industry Week during its first two days, Governor Mikhail Yevrayev said. The event runs from Oct. 5 to 11, bringing together companies, educational institutions and industry sessions.
More than 10,000 people visited Industry Week in Yaroslavl during its first two days, Governor Mikhail Yevrayev said. The event is being held from Oct. 5 to 11 at the Millennium cultural and entertainment center.
The program includes about 80 companies from high-tech industries and around 20 universities and colleges. Each day has a separate theme. On Tuesday, participants discussed the agro-industrial sector, tourism and industrial and agricultural ecotourism.
A practical seminar for agricultural businesses covered the Honest Sign product-labeling system for dairy goods and the introduction of batch accounting. The regional government said the requirements will be phased in: from Nov. 1, 2026, for dairy products with a shelf life over 40 days, and from March 1, 2027, for those with a shelf life under 40 days.
Visitors also took part in cooking workshops and tours of industrial sites. Students from Mali, Tunisia, Colombia, Cameroon, China and other countries visited a beverage factory, while students from Yaroslavl colleges toured the Factory of Processes training and production site.
An international Chamber of Commerce and Industry congress, titled “Investment. Development. Cooperation,” is scheduled for Wednesday as part of the event. Organizers announced a plenary meeting and three sessions on international industrial cooperation, technology development, localization and certification of Russian industrial products. More than 60 companies from 30 Russian regions are expected at a subcontracting and engineering exchange.
