Moscow invites teams to November Mos.Hub hackathon

Young IT professionals and students are invited to a Mos.Hub hackathon in Moscow on November 7–8. Teams of three to five people must apply by November 5.

Deputy Mayor Natalya Sergunina announced the participation requirements. Industry companies and experts have prepared five practical challenges. Each team will choose one and build a prototype digital solution for the city using the Mos.Hub cloud platform.

The areas mentioned include collaborative document editing and automated testing. The announcement does not provide details of all five challenges. The event will take place at MosHub.Skolkovo.

A jury comprising members of the professional community and Moscow's information technology department will assess the projects. Winners will be invited to the final selection stage for an internship with the Moscow government. They will also have an opportunity to contribute to the development of the city's digital projects.

An invitation to the final selection stage means the selection process continues. Winning the hackathon does not, by itself, guarantee admission to the internship.
