Naidu recalls innovation hub in tribute to Ratan Tata

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and minister Nara Lokesh honoured Ratan Tata on the anniversary of his death on October 9, highlighting the social purpose of his business and philanthropy.
In a post on X, Naidu credited Tata's commitment to the country, humility and ethical leadership with changing Indian industry. He said the industrialist's concern for people, kindness towards employees and affection for animals continued to offer an example.
Naidu also pointed to the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub, established in Andhra Pradesh to honour the entrepreneur's legacy. The hub is intended to encourage entrepreneurship at the grassroots and innovation among young people. The chief minister linked its purpose to Tata's work.
Lokesh described Tata as a forward-looking entrepreneur who believed business should serve a broader purpose. He praised his integrity and contribution to India's development. In his own post on X, the minister said the philanthropist's legacy endured through the people he helped and stressed that enterprise should benefit society.
