The Luhansk leader reported casualties; emergency services separately confirmed an attack on firefighters near a hospital.

RIA Novosti on Oct. 6 carried a statement by Luhansk leader Leonid Pasechnik saying four civilians had been killed in a drone attack. The figures and attribution have not been independently verified.

According to Pasechnik, a drone hit a passenger car in Svatove district, killing the driver; the passenger later died of serious injuries. Trucks were attacked in Stanytsia-Luhanska district, killing two drivers. Pasechnik also reported three injured people.

He said a hospital in Lysychansk was struck, damaging its facade and vehicles, but causing no injuries among patients or staff. He added that firefighters took shelter during an attempted repeat strike while tackling a blaze.

The regional emergency service separately confirmed a repeat attack on responders near the hospital and damage to equipment, saying no crew members were hurt. The agency did not confirm Pasechnik’s reported death toll.
