Petrosyan says judging at Batumi Challenger was objective

The Russian skater finished second at the Challenger event with 204.16 points and said she was generally satisfied with her marks. Estonia’s Nina Petrykina won.

Russian skater Adeliya Petrosyan said she considered the judging at the Challenger event in Batumi, Georgia, objective and was generally satisfied with her marks. Match TV reported her comments.

Petrosyan scored 204.16 points to finish second. Estonia’s Nina Petrykina won with 205.94.

Some experts had criticised the judging, arguing that local athletes may have received favourable treatment. Petrosyan rejected that view, saying she believed the result was fair.
