PRIO Oil Sales Rise 12.5% to 17.15 Million Barrels in Third Quarter

The Brazilian producer sold 17.15 million barrels from July to September. Its average daily production also increased from the previous quarter.

Brazilian oil company PRIO sold 17.15 million barrels in the third quarter, about 12.5% more than in the previous quarter. The company released preliminary figures for July through September.

Sales in September totalled 5.4 million barrels, compared with 5.38 million in August. The company said average daily production in the third quarter was 191,600 barrels of oil equivalent, up from 172,000 in the second quarter.

PRIO’s daily production in September was 192,563 barrels of oil equivalent, compared with 186,074 in August. Reuters reported the same sales and production figures from the company’s preliminary results.
