Russia says it struck drone and ammunition storage sites in Ukraine

The Defence Ministry said storage sites and deployment points in 142 areas were hit. The claims were not independently confirmed.

Russia’s Defence Ministry said Russian forces struck sites used to store drones and warehouses holding ammunition and explosives linked to Ukraine’s armed forces over a 24-hour period.

The ministry also said temporary deployment points of Ukrainian formations and foreign fighters in 142 areas were hit. According to its statement, operational-tactical aviation, attack drones, missile forces and artillery took part in the strikes.
