A serviceman with Russia’s Dnepr grouping, identified by the callsign Protoka, told the TASS news agency that he carried a wounded comrade about 9.7 kilometres from the front line. He said the man had been shot in the leg.
The serviceman said he gave first aid before carrying his comrade and seeking cover from drones. They had to take shelter eight times during the journey. The wounded man was later handed over to an evacuation team.
