Sky: Musiala to miss Arsenal and Freiburg matches as recovery continues

Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala will miss the upcoming matches against Arsenal and Freiburg, Sky Sports reported. A return from his thigh injury remains possible later in October.

According to the report, Musiala could return against Magdeburg in the German Cup on October 28 or against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga on October 31.

The 23-year-old suffered a thigh muscle tear while with Germany in September. He has made four appearances for Bayern across all competitions in the 2026/27 season, scoring two goals and providing an assist.
