Teachers' Day offers a chance to thank educators for their work and support. Lenta.ru has published downloadable cards and sample messages.
Russia celebrates Teachers' Day on October 5, the same date as the international observance honoring educators. For the occasion, Lenta.ru has prepared free downloadable cards and a selection of greeting messages.
A short wish might read: “May your eyes always shine with joy. Good luck in everything you do!” Another message reflects on the lasting effect of teaching: “School years pass quickly, but your lessons stay with children forever.”
The collection includes notes of thanks for teachers' patience, wisdom and attention to their students. One example says: “Thank you for your endless patience and wisdom. Wishing you good health and many happy years.” Other suggestions highlight a teacher's encouragement and readiness to help.
There are messages for colleagues, parents and pupils. One describes a teacher as a mentor who helps children become curious and kind as well as learn. The collection also offers wishes for peace, well-being and happiness on the professional holiday.
