U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters he had a phone call planned with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Asked when it would take place, he replied, “very soon.”
Earlier, at an event in Maryland, Trump said U.S. authorities were continuing to work toward resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict. He said the end of hostilities was “really getting closer.” Kommersant reported the comments separately.
